two worlds converge,
drawn by unseen forces,
orbiting, circling,
intertwining their courses.
one, a brilliant star, ethereal,
radiant, pure, in endless flight,
the other, humble, terrestrial,
grateful to feel its gentle light.
though realms apart they dwell,
separated by cosmic design,
their fleeting union, a precious spell,
a moment of grace, entwined.
the lesser sphere, in awe’s embrace,
humbled by the otherโs grace,
cherishes the chance, by cosmic decree,
to gaze upon its luminous majesty
for even the smallest may touch the great,
if but for a moment in time,
though their paths forever separate,
this short union, a memory sublime.
